French Foreign Ministry: France's investments in Cairo total $7 billion

Mubasher - Ahmed Ismail: Didier Bleu, Chief Operating Officer at the French Ministry of Foreign Trade, said that France has invested $7 billion in Egypt, making it the largest European investor in Cairo.
This came during Didier Bleu's speech at the Egyptian-French businessmen's press conference held on Monday.
Didier Bleu stated that there are 2,000 French companies operating in the Egyptian market, 70% of which are small and medium-sized enterprises. He emphasized the importance of French companies expanding in Egypt and entering and exporting to surrounding markets in Africa and the Middle East.
He stressed that the Egyptian-French Business Forum can support companies in expanding into both the Egyptian and French markets.
He added that bilateral discussions will be held between Egyptian and French businessmen during today's sessions.
Didier Bleu stated that a forum for Egyptian and French businessmen will be held in France next month to strengthen relations between the two countries.
