Live: Aviation data analysis company Cirium announced in its 2024 annual report the list of the most punctual airlines.

The data showed that Aeromexico was the most punctual, with 86.7% of its flights arriving on time.

For his part, Mike Malek, Marketing Director at Cirium, commented that this classification comes at the end of the company's transformation journey towards profitability, after it emerged from bankruptcy in 2022.

He added that the company has invested heavily in technology to improve its punctuality and increase profits .

In second place was Saudi Arabian Airlines, with 86.35% of its flights on schedule, while Delta Air Lines came in third with 83.46%, despite the challenges it faced due to the suspension of air traffic due to a malfunction in the CrowdStrike program in July, which led to the cancellation of about 7,000 flights .

The analysis, conducted by Cirium, is based on reviewing more than 25 million daily data from more than 600 sources to determine how well airlines are adhering to their flight arrival times, with a flight considered on time if it arrives within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled time .

Qatar Airways came in fifth place with a commitment rate of 82.83%.
