Brazilian President on X: Bombing Venezuelan territory and arresting its president cross an unacceptable line
SAO PAULO, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Saturday condemned the U.S. military attack on Venezuela and the arrest of its president, Nicolas Maduro, calling it a crossing of an "unacceptable line".
Lula said in a post on X.com, "These actions represent a serious disregard for Venezuela's sovereignty and another extremely dangerous precedent for the entire international community."
Lula had previously said that armed intervention in Venezuela would be a "humanitarian catastrophe," and offered Brazil's mediation in the disputes between the two countries.
