Cairo - Mubasher: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron witnessed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries at Al-Ittihadiya Palace on Monday.

The agreements include a declaration of intent for cooperation with the French Ministry of Health, signed on behalf of Egypt by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and on behalf of France by Catherine Vautrin, Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity and Family Affairs, according to the Middle East News Agency.

President Sisi had just received his French counterpart at Al-Ittihadiya Palace. The official reception ceremony began with a 21-gun salute welcoming the French president. The national anthems of both countries were then played, and the two presidents inspected the guard of honor.

Yesterday, the French President began his fourth official visit to Egypt in eight years, which will last for three days.
