Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has achieved yet another accomplishment at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025, with innovator Saad Al-Anzi from Majmaah University winning the grand prize.

According to a statement published by the Ministry of Education, Saudi innovators received six international awards and 124 international medals, marking the first achievement of its kind for the education system since the exhibition's launch.

The Kingdom participated in the exhibition with 134 scientific inventions, out of more than 1,000 inventions representing 35 countries around the world. 161 Saudi innovators from public education, universities, and technical training, along with a number of faculty members, competed for international awards.

The awards were distributed among 124 medals won by students from university education, general education, and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, as well as six special awards, four of which went to university education and two to general education, for scientific and technical innovations in various fields, including: engineering, medicine, chemistry, environment, plant sciences, software systems, and energy.

For his part, the grand prize-winning innovator, Saad Al-Anzi, praised the leadership's support for innovators, emphasizing that this win embodies the Kingdom's leadership in supporting innovation and empowering national minds.

Students from the education system expressed their pride and gratitude for the support and encouragement they receive, expressing their happiness at raising the Kingdom's flag and representing it at one of the world's most prominent innovation exhibitions.

For his part, the Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, congratulated the leadership on the achievement of Saudi inventor Saad Al-Anzi, from Majmaah University, who won the Grand Prize at the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions in 2025. Meanwhile, the Kingdom's university and public education students won six international awards and 124 medals during their participation in the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

Al-Bunyan emphasized that this achievement reflects the leadership's commitment to education and national talent. It represents the fruits of the human capacity development strategy and is evidence of the quality of education in the Kingdom and the effectiveness of its partnerships with sectors that support innovation.

The Minister explained that the students' distinguished participation in a prestigious international forum reflects their creative abilities in various disciplines and enhances the Kingdom's presence in the global innovation scene.
