The opening ceremony, held in Jeddah on February 27, was attended by a number of officials and healthcare leaders, including Dr. Ramzi Al-Judaibi, Head of the Retina and Vitreous Department at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, and Dr. Saleh Al-Masabi, CEO and Founder of the Advanced Ophthalmology Practices Middle East Conference. Also in attendance were Ms. Hajiba Rawi, Vice President of the Surgical Commercial Sector for Emerging and Developing Markets at Al-Kabeer Hospital, and Mr. Fadi Al-Safadi, Head of the Surgical Sector and Group Director for the Middle East and Africa at Al-Kabeer Hospital .

On the sidelines of the opening, Al-Kaun signed a series of educational agreements with four hospitals in the region: King Fahd University Hospital, National Guard Hospitals, Magrabi Eye Hospital, and Ahad Hospital. These agreements aim to enhance specialized training in ophthalmology and expand access to the latest advanced educational resources, contributing to the development of the competencies of healthcare workers in the Kingdom .
