Kuwait , Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Company (KSPICO) organized an exceptional ceremony titled “Panadrex Ceremony” at Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Hall, attended by more than 150 pharmacists from all over Kuwait, which was held to represent a prominent achievement in the company’s journey that aims to develop the pharmaceutical industries sector in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The ceremony began with an opening speech by Dr. Mohammed Hamada, Marketing Manager at Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries (KSPICO), where he expressed his great pride in the tremendous success achieved by the Panadrex brand, which has become a trusted name not only in Kuwait, but in the regional markets as well.

Pointing out the prestigious position that KSPICO occupies in the Gulf pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Hamada said: “Since the company’s establishment in 1980 and the re-launch of the brand in 1994, KSPICO has been a symbol of pharmaceutical industry leadership in the region. With our state-of-the-art facilities, which include the production of large-volume solutions, solid tablets, oral liquids and semi-solids, we have proven our ability to compete globally.”

Concluding his speech, he stressed that with a clear focus on activating its pharmaceutical portfolio, driving strong market expansion, and enhancing brand presence, KSPICO is poised to redefine the pharmaceutical landscape in Kuwait and beyond.

The ceremony included a scientific visual presentation, presented by Dr. Imad El-Din Ibrahim Abdel-Wahab, Consultant of Internal Medicine and International Clinical Examiner MRCP (United Kingdom), who discussed some important information about headaches and provided comprehensive insights into their types, including:

• Primary headaches: such as migraine, cluster, tension headache, thunderclap headache, and ice cream headache.
• Secondary headaches: such as sinus headaches, high blood pressure headaches, and headaches related to hormones and stress.

Providing important guidelines for proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment for each type.

In a special segment, Dr. Fatima Al Sharqi, Product Manager at KSPICO, revealed the new identity of the “Panadrex” brand, highlighting the diversity of its products, so that the group includes:

• Panadrex for infants and children
• Panadrex Children's Formula
• Panadrex suppositories

Dr. Al Sharqi also highlighted in her segment the targeted age groups, indications for use, and the different formulations of Panadrex products, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing integrated medical solutions to meet the various needs of patients.

The interactive aspect of the ceremony added a special touch, as attendees participated in a scientific competition that included questions about the topics presented. The winners were honored with valuable prizes, and a large raffle was held for special prizes for the participants.
