The Jordanian index closed lower amid speculation.
AMMAN, March 12 (Reuters) - Jordan's stock market fell on Wednesday due to limited selling in most leading shares amid speculation and good trading volume.
The general index closed down 0.12 percent to 2,614.23 points, while trading value reached 5.2 million dinars ($7.3 million), compared to 4.7 million in the previous session.
Arab Potash shares fell 0.49 percent to 30.5 dinars, and Jordan Islamic Bank shares fell 0.71 percent to 4.22 dinars.
The oil refinery's share fell 0.37 percent to 5.44 dinars, and the phosphate mines' share fell 0.13 percent to 15.3 dinars.
