Riyadh - Mubasher: Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs, Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, headed the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the 53rd meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha.
The meeting discussed several topics of common interest that would contribute to the advancement of the industrial sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the continuation of cooperation, coordination, and exchange of expertise and knowledge efforts, in a way that enhances and supports Gulf economic work, especially in the industrial sector based on advanced technology, innovation, and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salama participated in the consultative meeting between Their Excellencies the Ministers of Commerce and Industry, and the heads of the federations and chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
On the sidelines of the meeting of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee, Ibn Salamah met with the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, the Minister of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait, Khalifa bin Abdullah Al-Ajeel, the Minister of Industry and Commerce in Bahrain, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, and the CEO of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mohammed. The bilateral meetings discussed strengthening bilateral relations in the industrial sector and exploring mutual investment opportunities.
