Al-Nassr Saudi Club announces the signing of Al-Sharari for three years.
July 16 (Reuters Arabic Sports Service) - Saudi Professional League club Al-Nassr announced on Wednesday the signing of defender Nader Al-Sharari for three seasons.
Al-Nasr wrote on the social media platform (X): “Welcome, Nader, to your club, Al-Nasr.”
Throughout the season, the 29-year-old made one assist in 32 matches for the team, which he joined from Abha in the summer of 2021.
This is the first deal announced by Al-Nassr since the signing of Jorge Jesus for a one-year term, marking the Portuguese coach's return to the competition after leaving Al-Hilal last season.
Al-Nassr parted ways with coach Stefano Pioli last June, after the team finished third in the Saudi league and qualified for the AFC Champions League 2.
Jesus left Al Hilal after the club's AFC Champions League semi-final exit to local rivals Al Ahli, who later won the title.
Al-Nassr is looking to win the local league title for the first time since the 2018-2019 season.
