PRESSR: Bank Nizwa collaborates with the 'Lahunna' Oman initiative to launch the 'Tawazun' program
Muscat: In line with its commitment to holistic community development, Bank Nizwa, the leading and most trusted Islamic bank in the Sultanate of Oman, has partnered with the Women Oman Initiative to launch the 'Tawazun' program, a series of training sessions focused on the personal and professional development of Omani women and youth. The program explores the concepts of well-being, health, and balance, drawing its essence from the Islamic principle of equilibrium. It delves into the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial dimensions of life, reflecting Bank Nizwa's commitment to nurturing ambitious individuals and building strong, resilient communities that contribute to positive societal progress.
Commenting on this partnership, Haifa Al Lawati, Assistant General Manager – Head of Human Resources at Bank Nizwa, said: “Omani women are pioneers in the development journey of the Sultanate of Oman, demonstrating excellence in the workplace and contributing effectively to supporting our communities. We believe that supporting them to adopt a balanced approach to life is essential for achieving their ambitions and successfully fulfilling their multiple social and professional roles. This collaboration with the ‘Tawazun’ program, part of the ‘Her Oman’ initiative, brings together various aspects of well-being under one umbrella, ensuring that women receive the support they deserve and enhancing their ability to live lives full of confidence, ambition, and achievement.”
Shatha bint Salem Al Maskari, founder of the Her Oman Initiative, said: “Balance does not mean slowing down, but rather moving forward with clarity. When your goal aligns with your belief and influence, your decisions become more conscious, you lead with confidence, and you make room for others to grow with you.”
The series will feature inspiring lectures by prominent Omani figures, including Her Highness Sayyida Mayya Al Said, Her Excellency Zahra Al Lawati, Sara Al Musqati, and Natila Al Kharousi. Through this collaboration, Bank Nizwa reaffirms its commitment to promoting the values of balance, inclusivity, and sustainable progress. The program will run throughout the year in multiple sessions, targeting women and youth from diverse professional and educational backgrounds.
This partnership between Bank Nizwa and the Women of Oman initiative aims to promote personal growth, faith-based well-being, financial literacy, and pave the way for sustainable leadership and community development, in line with Oman Vision 2040. Through this collaboration, Bank Nizwa continues to embody Islamic values through actions, promoting a culture of balance, purpose, and collective growth in Omani society.
