Egypt Stock Exchange continues to rise at the beginning, exceeding 30,600 points

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices continued to rise in morning trading on Monday, with the 30-point index exceeding the 30,608-point barrier, supported by local and Arab purchases.
By 10:4 am Cairo time, the main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, “EGX30”, rose by 0.54% to reach 30,608 points.
The EGX70 Equal Weight Index of Small and Medium Enterprises rose by 0.37% to reach 8,597.7 points, while the EGX100 Equal Weight Index rose by 0.43% to reach 11,785 points.
During that time, 245.6 million shares were traded, with a trading value of about 590 million pounds, through 19.6 thousand transactions.
At the beginning of the session, 192 shares were traded, 83 of which rose, 30 fell, and 79 other shares remained unchanged.
In terms of investor transactions, foreigners alone tended to sell shares with a net value of 6.8 million pounds.
While the dealings of Egyptians and Arabs tended towards buying with a net value of 6.4 million pounds and 363.2 thousand pounds, respectively.
