TASI records its sixth consecutive rise, supported by its main sectors

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday's session in the green, continuing its rise for the sixth consecutive session, amid positive performance by all its main sectors.
The general index of the market "TASI" closed up 0.8%, with gains of 96.24 points, rising to 12,193.64 points.
Trading values rose at the end of Tuesday’s session to 6.95 billion riyals, through 572.99 million shares, compared to 6.81 billion riyals, with a trading volume of 586.2 million shares, at the end of yesterday’s session, Monday.
The green color dominated the performance of the sectors, and most sectors witnessed positive performance. The media and entertainment sector led the rising sectors with an increase of 3.4%, followed by the energy sector with an increase of 1.21%, and the communications sector recorded an increase of 1.14%, while the gains of the basic materials and banking sectors amounted to 0.85% and 0.77%, respectively.
In terms of stock performance, gains included 110 stocks, led by Anaam Holding, which rose by 6.77%. 118 stocks closed in red, led by Banan, which declined by 9.88%.
Saudi Aramco shares recorded the highest trading value of about 719.15 million riyals, and the highest trading volume was for Al Baha shares, with a trading volume of 244.38 million shares.
On the other hand, the parallel market recorded an increase at the end of today's trading session, Tuesday, as the (Maximum Growth) index closed up 0.17%, equivalent to 54.76 points, to record a level of 31,557.61 points.
Dar Al-Markaba stock led the gains after rising 13.42%, while Rawasi stock had the highest losses, closing down 10.20%.
