Signing an agreement to enhance integration between the tourism and logistics sectors in the Kingdom

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Tourism Authority and Saudi Airlines Cargo signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance strategic cooperation between them in various fields, aiming to develop air cargo operations to keep pace with the growing demand from tourists, and explore innovative cooperative opportunities to raise the level of services provided in both sectors.
This memorandum seeks to enhance the tourist experience by providing highly efficient and reliable air cargo services, which directly supports the growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), today, Monday.
The terms of the memorandum also include enhancing the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two parties, unifying strategic objectives, discussing logistical challenges, and studying ways to improve operational processes; with the aim of creating advanced solutions in the field of logistics and air freight services, in addition to supporting joint promotional campaigns and participating in local exhibitions and conferences.
This step comes within the framework of the Saudi Tourism Authority’s efforts to enhance innovation and development in the logistics sector, in order to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to develop the tourism sector, increase its contribution to the gross domestic product, and diversify sources of economic income.
Through this agreement, Saudi Airlines Cargo aims to enhance effective cooperation between the logistics and tourism sectors in the Kingdom, and raise service standards by combining the operational excellence provided by Saudi Airlines Cargo and the strategic visions of the Saudi Tourism Authority, in a way that supports achieving sustainable growth, opens new horizons for cooperation between sectors, and enhances the Kingdom’s position as a leading global center for tourism, trade, and cargo flow.
