TikTok to launch regional headquarters in Riyadh in early 2025

Riyadh - Mubasher: Chinese company TikTok intends to establish a regional headquarters in Riyadh, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year, according to its CEO, Xu Qiu .

He added in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative held in Riyadh, that what encourages the company to open this headquarters in Saudi Arabia is the demographic structure, which includes a high youth and technology-savvy group.

He explained that more than 175,000 companies in the Kingdom currently use the TikTok platform.

Qiu noted that the Chinese company plans to launch “Feed,” a content dedicated to science and mathematics in the Kingdom, similar to the one it launched in the United States a year ago and achieved great success .
