Kingdom of Saudi Arabia : Dr. Muhannad Al-Sheikh, CEO of Johnson Controls Arabia and General Supervisor of the Future Industrialists Initiative, participated in the closing ceremony of the first session of the “Future Industrialists” initiative, under the patronage and presence of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, where he renewed his capacity. Dr. Muhannad Al-Sheikh expressed his happiness and pride in what the Future Industrialists Initiative has achieved during his speech at the closing ceremony, and stated that the Kingdom has witnessed in the past few years unprecedented progress in the industrial sector thanks to effective initiatives and the purposeful national vision 2030, stressing that Johnson Controls Arabia is working continuously and sustainably to support... This vision is centered through wide-ranging and impactful initiatives; Whether in industry, being one of the biggest supporters of the national strategy for industry, and even sustainable development initiatives, being a responsible company working to leave a tangible impact on Saudi society.

Dr. Muhannad pointed out that the renaissance of national industry does not mean compromising on the right to the environment. Through sustainable industrial practices, the negative impact on the environment and climate change can be reduced by 2060 to be consistent with the Kingdom’s development and environmental plans. He added that guiding and encouraging students to explore the national industry and understand advanced and green technologies in the world of modern industry pushes them towards developing their skills and acquiring the knowledge necessary to face the challenges of the future and achieve the Kingdom’s goals and vision. Therefore, the efforts of the founding partners of the initiative were directed with this course to successfully target 10,000 male and female students, and they also intend to The initiative targets 500,000 male and female students by 2030.

The initiative works to guide and encourage students to explore the fields of innovation as future leaders, which contributes to enhancing the pace of achieving the national strategy and the vision of His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to increase the percentage of workers in the industrial sector from 900 thousand workers currently to 2 million workers in the future. 2030, with the number of factories increasing from 11 thousand factories currently to 36 thousand factories by 2035. It is worth noting that Johnson Controls Arabia continuously pushes and encourages industrial, social and educational initiatives within its pioneering strategy for environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) practices, which focuses primarily on sustainable development goals.
