Khaled Al-Dakani has over 21 years of professional experience in the global Holcim Group, during which he held several leadership positions in different countries. He started his career as the Chief Financial Officer in Algeria, then assumed the position of CEO in Nigeria, Iraq, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in addition to holding the position of CEO in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar. He was able to achieve a strategic transformation in business operations and increase the profitability of the companies he led, in addition to laying the strategic foundations for sustainable growth in different markets.

Khaled El Dokany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting from Alexandria University, where he demonstrated academic excellence that qualified him to achieve great accomplishments in the business field. Based on an innovative strategy and a clear future vision, Khaled El Dokany will lead Lafarge Egypt towards enhancing its leading role in the Egyptian market by adopting the best global practices in management and sustainability, in line with international trends towards sustainable and safe construction, to embody a modern vision that aims to make a positive impact on the economy, society and the environment.

It is worth noting that Lafarge Egypt owns an advanced cement plant in Ain Sokhna with a production capacity of 9.5 million tons per year, making it one of the largest cement factories in the region. The company also operates more than 7 ready-mix concrete production sites across the country, in addition to its sister company Geocycle Egypt, which processes waste and introduces it into the production process as an alternative fuel. In its ambitious strategy for a sustainable future, the company focuses on achieving sustainable development in all social, environmental and economic aspects, within the framework of the Holcim Group’s global strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
