Riyadh, Saudi Arabia : Salam Telecommunications Company (“Salam”), the leading provider of integrated telecommunications and digital infrastructure services in the Kingdom, announced the honoring of five winning projects within the Salam Award for Promising Projects, during its participation as a strategic sponsor of the DeveGo 25 Forum for Entrepreneurship and Modern Work Patterns in its second edition, which was held at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh, during the period from December 21 to 23, 2025 .
This award comes as part of “Salam’s” commitment to supporting the small and medium enterprises system, and enabling entrepreneurs to transform their innovative ideas into projects that can grow and expand, by providing platforms that highlight national talents and contribute to linking them to opportunities, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of diversifying the economy and promoting innovation .
The award saw participation from numerous entrepreneurs across the Kingdom, with winning projects selected based on rigorous criteria including creativity, originality, feasibility, and anticipated market impact. Each winner received a cash prize in recognition of the strength of their idea and its future potential .
On this occasion, Eng. The awards were presented to the winners during the forum by Professor Abdullah Mohammed Al-Khurmi, CEO of the business sector at Etihad Salam Telecommunications Company, in a move that reflects the integration of efforts between the private and financial sectors to support entrepreneurs .
The five winning projects—" BioNet " by Lama Abdulaziz Al-Rashid, "Qad Bisalama" by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Musfir, "Nafhasaha" by Khamis Al-Hamad, "Bayyin" by Abdulrahman Bin Rashid, and "Qawl Tech" by Mohammed Nasser Al-Nuqaidan—represented a diverse range of sectors, reflecting the breadth of the Kingdom's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The winning ideas included solutions focused on multiple sectors, as well as projects that addressed challenges and presented opportunities in innovative and practical ways. Overall, the winning projects demonstrated strong potential for real-world application, clear market relevance, and the ability to contribute to sustainable business growth.
The Salam Award for Promising Projects invited entrepreneurs, business owners, and early-stage startups to participate by submitting a creative video, no longer than 60 seconds, explaining their idea clearly and innovatively via social media platforms, using the hashtag #SalamAward . Submissions were evaluated by a specialized committee, which assessed the work according to strict criteria including creativity, originality, feasibility, and expected impact .
Through its diverse programs and initiatives, such as the "Salam Award for Promising Projects," Salam continues its role as a digital enabler and strategic partner for small and medium enterprises, by supporting platforms that promote entrepreneurship, encourage innovation, and contribute to achieving sustainable development and growth for the private sector in the Kingdom in the long term to build a more diversified and resilient Saudi economy.
