In an effort to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by a wider range of users, Tesla today announces the launch of its most fuel-efficient vehicle in Saudi Arabia — the Model 3 Standard with rear-wheel drive.

The latest addition to the Model 3 lineup comes equipped with everything owners love about the Model 3: excellent range, efficiency, sports car-like performance and handling, unmatched technology and software, top-class safety, and everyday comfort. With a design focused on practicality and running costs, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard offers a superior interior experience for all passengers, while achieving maximum efficiency on every journey.

Thanks to a high-energy-density battery pack, highly efficient motors and integrated electrical systems, aerodynamic design, and smart software, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard achieves a WLTP fuel consumption of just 13.0 kWh/100 km – better than many small city cars. For owners, this means more kilometers/miles for every riyal spent on charging.

With a range of up to 534 km according to the WLTP standard, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard easily handles long journeys with family, friends, and all their gear. When needed, Tesla's Supercharger network—the world's largest and most reliable fast-charging network—provides access to nearly 500 Superchargers across the Middle East.

Thanks to its powerful acceleration, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 goes from 0–100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds—faster than many sporty hatchbacks, yet without sacrificing comfort, interior space, or running costs. With far fewer moving parts than comparable gasoline-powered cars, Teslas require very little maintenance—no oil changes or annual servicing needed. Furthermore, the new 18-inch Prismata tires help reduce fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs when tire replacements do occur.

As with all Tesla vehicles, the latest Model 3 comes with a host of features, including remote access via a mobile app, Trip Planner with real-time Supercharger availability, and a variety of gaming and entertainment options. Features such as a phone key, remote climate control, Guardian Mode, Pet Mode, and all the signature Tesla features are also included.

Using voice commands, skipping tracks, switching podcasts, adjusting cabin temperature, or rerouting navigation becomes as simple as speaking it out loud.

The hands-free power liftgate provides 594 liters of luggage space with five passengers, expanding to 1,659 liters with the second row folded down. For added space, the front luggage compartment offers 88 liters. And if that's not enough, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard can tow up to 1,000 kg.

The rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard benefits from all the recent updates introduced to the Model 3 lineup earlier this year: a new front camera that gives drivers a wider view of the surroundings on the center display, equipped with a built-in fog and ice-dispersing system. And a precisely redesigned indicator arm provides accurate and easy operation on every journey.

The vehicle comes with an adaptive headlight system as a standard feature. Using front cameras to detect oncoming vehicles, taillights, ambient lighting, and road curves, the headlights selectively dim individual high-beam pixels – eliminating glare for others while keeping the road fully illuminated for the driver.

To maximize usability, the rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard features durable, soft-touch fabric seats designed for all scenarios and weather conditions. The front seats are power-adjustable and heated, while the rear seats offer ample headroom and panoramic views through the full-panel glass roof. Mobile devices stay powered thanks to two wireless chargers and a front USB-C port, plus two rear USB-C ports providing up to 65W each.

The rear-wheel-drive Model 3 Standard offers the same superior software experience as any other Model 3. Continuous over-the-air updates enhance the vehicle, introducing new features and improving existing ones at no extra cost. It also comes standard with Autopilot and is technically equipped for Full Self-Driving (supervised), which will be activated remotely in eligible vehicles once approved by local regulators.
