Doha, Qatar : Al Abdulghani Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota and Lexus cars in Qatar, participated in the Private Sector Forum as part of the activities of the Second World Summit for Social Development, alongside a select group of business leaders and decision-makers from around the world, under the slogan “Business for Social Development: Building an Inclusive Future for All” .

The company was represented at the forum by Ms. Asma Masoud, General Manager of Human Resources and Corporate Culture at Al Abdulghani Motors, who participated in a panel discussion entitled “Shared Prosperity through Responsible Business Practices.” During her presentation, she reviewed the company’s efforts to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Qatar National Vision 2030 into its corporate strategy by embedding social responsibility into daily practices, empowering its human resources, and promoting sustainable growth .

Ms. Masoud highlighted the human and social dimensions of corporate life, pointing to initiatives such as extended maternity leave, wellness programs, work-life balance initiatives, continuing education, and employee welfare. She emphasized that focusing on people is fundamental to building sustainable societies .

She also stressed the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in supporting national development priorities and providing decent job opportunities, calling for the development of systematic frameworks to measure companies’ contribution to social and environmental goals, and making impact assessment a motivating tool for businesses that contributes to achieving tangible results .

She added that enabling small and medium enterprises to access resources and financial support is a key factor in achieving inclusive growth, stressing that there is no single formula for corporate social responsibility, as each institution must define its own framework to create a real and tangible social impact, with the exchange of experiences and mutual support between institutions in the sector .

Through its participation in the summit, Al Abdulghani Motors renewed its commitment to leading in responsible business practices and to continuing to support the sustainable and inclusive development agenda of the State of Qatar .
