Doha - Mubasher: The Qatar Chamber discussed cooperation relations with Algeria in the commercial and economic fields and ways to enhance them, as well as the role of the private sector in enhancing trade exchange and establishing commercial partnerships that benefit the economies of both countries.

This came during a reception held at the Chamber's headquarters by Qatar Chamber Chairman Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani for the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar, Saleh Attia, according to a statement from the Chamber on Tuesday.

During the meeting, an invitation was extended to the Chairman of the Qatar Chamber to visit Algeria at the head of a Qatari trade and industrial delegation to explore the investment climate and opportunities available in Algeria. The delegation is expected to include a number of Qatari industrial companies that wish to expand their activities outside Qatar and open markets in Algeria.
