Dubai, United Arab Emirates - As part of its efforts to support the local business community and enhance its awareness of various legal requirements, Dubai Chambers recently organized two workshops on two main areas affecting the local business community. These workshops addressed the legal and practical aspects of the insurance sector and e-commerce disputes, with the participation of more than 80 people. Participated in the two workshops.
Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, said: “The workshops aim to provide local companies with clear insights from experts and specialists on important issues that affect their business. The Chambers organized an in-person workshop entitled “Insurance Prospects: Legal and Practical Aspects” in cooperation with “BSA Ahmed Bin Hazim & Partners Law Firm”, where the attendees explored the legal requirements regarding insurance coverage in the UAE, in particular the various types of insurance available, the terms and conditions of insurance documents, and management. Insurance claims, complaints against insurance companies in the UAE, business risk insurance, and factors that business owners should consider when choosing insurance coverage for their business.
The Chambers also organized a virtual workshop on “E-Commerce and Digital Disputes” in partnership with “Legal OGH”. The attendees represented many experienced e-commerce companies
