Doha - Mubasher: Qatar Energy has signed a long-term condensate supply agreement with Shell International Oriental Trading Company (SISCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell PLC, to supply Shell with up to 285 million barrels of condensate starting from July 2025 for a period of 25 years.

The agreement was signed, according to a statement issued by Qatar Energy on Wednesday, by Saad bin Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, President and CEO of Qatar Energy, and Wael Sawan, CEO of Shell.

Minister Al-Kaabi expressed his pleasure at signing QatarEnergy's first 25-year condensate sales agreement, the largest and longest-term condensate sales agreement to date.

He added that this agreement is even more significant because it is with Shell, a strategic partner, with whom Qatar Energy recently signed a 20-year naphtha sales agreement, which supports its efforts to deliver greater value to Shell.

For his part, Wael Sawan expressed Shell's pleasure at signing the long-term agreement and building on the strong strategic relationship with Qatar Energy.
