Dubai : The third edition of the Machines Can See Summit, which will be held on April 23 and 24, 2025, at the Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers Boulevard, as part of Dubai Artificial Intelligence Week, will host a group of thought leaders and innovators to explore and discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence and computer vision.
Organized by Polynum Events, the summit is the largest computer vision event and one of the leading gatherings of AI professionals in the region and the world.
The summit is supported by several prominent institutions, including the Dubai Digital Authority, Yango, known for its Arabic voice assistant and delivery robots, the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Mastercard, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority's AI Lab.
Prominent partnerships
In this context, Alexander Khanin, President of Polynom Events, said: "Through our partnerships and panel discussions, we aim to highlight key trends impacting the AI industry, including bots, AI agents, and attacks on large language models. With the support of Dubai Police, we will also host a unique panel discussion on safe cities and AI."
The Machines Can See Summit will feature the participation of prominent local government officials, including His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital.
Ministerial session
The ministerial session will be a key highlight of the summit, bringing together a number of world government leaders to discuss the role of national IT development in shaping the future of artificial intelligence. The list of prominent speakers includes His Excellency Zaslan Madiyev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aviation Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and His Excellency Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digitalization of the Republic of Malaysia.
SAP workshop
To add even more depth to the event, SAP will host an exclusive workshop titled "Transforming AI into Real-World Results." This interactive session will enable business leaders to design AI-powered tools tailored to their organizations' needs. Attendees will explore how AI can significantly enhance product innovation processes, optimize supply chains, and transform customer experiences.

Technology and Quality of Life
Among the summit participants is Yango Group, a technology company working to transform global technologies into everyday services to improve the quality of life locally. The company will showcase Yasmina, a human-like AI assistant, autonomous last-mile delivery robots, and AI-powered automation solutions for warehouses.
The future of artificial intelligence
During a session titled "Artificial Intelligence for a Better and Safer World: Overcoming Tomorrow's Challenges," experts will discuss how AI can enhance global security and prosperity while simultaneously addressing ethical considerations. Participants include Major General Khaled Nasser Al Razooqi of Dubai Police, Dina Al Mansouri of E&, and Marwan Zeineddine of SAP in the UAE.
Technology opportunities
Another session, "Byte-Sized Profits: Navigating ROI in the AI Revolution," will explore investment opportunities and strategies for maximizing returns in the AI market. Speakers will include Omar Almajdouie of Raed Ventures, Eddie Farhat of E& Investment, and Faris Almazrouei of Mubadala.
The session "Good AI: Between Hyperbole and Simplicity" will offer a critical examination of distinguishing transformative AI innovations from fleeting trends. In-depth insights on this topic will be provided by Dr. Najwa Alaraj of the Technology Innovation Institute, Namik Herle of IBM, and Adeniyi Adebayo of Yango.
The "Computer Vision: What's On" session will feature industry leaders, including Michal Irani from the Weizmann Institute and Marc Pollewicz from ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, who will discuss breakthroughs in image recognition and real-time processing technologies.
The "Robotics: Are We Ready?" session will host discussions on the future of autonomous delivery and humanoid robots. Speakers include Sami Haddadin of the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and Juda Longerer of KiwiBot.
The summit will also feature keynote addresses from prominent experts such as Michael Bronstein of Oxford University, Gerard Medioni of Amazon Prime Video, and Andrea Vedaldi of Oxford University, in addition to Pavlos Panagiotidis, Head of AI and Platform Architecture EMEA at SAP, and Daniele Iacovelli, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Digitalization, AI, and Operational Excellence at Roche Pharma.
