PRESSR: Gulf Scientific Foundation expands its scope of work by opening a new office in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman

Dubai, UAE: In a significant step towards expanding its regional presence, Gulf Scientific Corporation (“GSC”) has announced the opening of its new office in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman: “GSC-SBC”.

This strategic expansion further strengthens GSC’s commitment to supporting the scientific community in the Sultanate of Oman and strengthening its presence across the GCC region.

The new Muscat office is expected to become a local sales and distribution hub for its laboratory equipment and consumables. It represents a crucial step in enhancing GSC’s operational capabilities in Oman, ensuring that customers receive efficient and timely services directly in the region. In this context, and to further enhance this goal, the company has appointed an office manager with significant industry experience having worked in the materials and analysis sector for 17 years in Oman.

The Muscat office will have a team of six, including dedicated sales and service personnel, and will serve as a vital link, helping to build new connections and relationships with existing clients including: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Royal Oman Police and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. The GSC-SPC office will also stock spare parts and consumables to meet immediate customer needs.

This local presence underscores GSC’s dedication to providing customized support and services that meet each client’s unique needs and fill any shortages in the country regarding scientific equipment, thus enhancing the well-being of its citizens.

The establishment of the new office in Muscat is part of the Gulf Scientific Corporation’s accelerated expansion plan, which saw the opening of two wholly-owned subsidiaries of GSC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2023. The opening of these projects marks a new chapter in the company’s expansion journey, as it continues to strengthen its regional presence and contribute to supporting the region’s thriving scientific landscape.

Manaf Afyouni, General Manager of Gulf Scientific Foundation, expressed his excitement about the new project, saying: “The opening of our office in Muscat is a milestone in our ongoing journey of regional expansion. It also underscores our commitment to the scientific communities we serve, and is a testament to our efforts in providing advanced solutions and unparalleled service.”

GSC is focused on future growth and innovation, and is well positioned to play a pivotal role in developing the region’s scientific sector.
