Riyadh - Mubasher: Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, said that the project to develop the historic center of Hofuf aims to transform the region into an integrated cultural and tourist center while preserving its historical heritage.

Prince Saud added, during his participation in a dialogue session within the activities of the Future of Real Estate Forum in Riyadh, today, Monday, that the project will contribute to enhancing the tourism and cultural movement, and creating new investment and economic opportunities.

The Governor of Al-Ahsa noted that the completion rate of the development project in the center of Al-Hofuf has reached 88%, with an area exceeding 3 million square meters.

He pointed out the project to study the transformation of Al-Ahsa Oasis into a nature reserve, which has reached 49% completion, and aims to preserve the largest palm oasis in the world and enhance agricultural production and sustainable environmental activities.

Prince Saud bin Talal pointed out that the qualitative projects witnessed by the governorate will contribute to achieving comprehensive development and enhancing its position as a prominent economic and tourist center.
