Riyadh - Mubasher: Shahim Mohammed, Director of Lulu Group in Saudi Arabia, stressed the importance of the "Global Retail Leaders Forum" 2025 in enhancing the retail sector, noting that the forum is one of the most prominent platforms that brings together those working in the sector with developers and suppliers, which opens the horizon for joint cooperation .

He explained in an interview with Mubasher TV that Saudi Arabia has become one of the most promising markets in the world, noting that the rapid growth in the Saudi market attracts investors and workers in the retail sector.

He also pointed out that the forum witnessed the attendance of many investors and companies that were hesitant to enter the Saudi market several years ago, but today they are witnessing a great demand for investment in the Kingdom .

He stressed that Lulu Group has been present in the Saudi market for 15 years, allocating the majority of its capital expenditures to the local market.

The group currently has 60 stores in the Kingdom, with a plan to increase the number of stores to 100 stores by 2028. He pointed out that the group continues to expand its activities in the Kingdom’s major cities, such as Mecca and Medina .

He explained that 70% of the group's capital is directed to the Saudi market, where it is present in 16 cities, with plans to expand to 22 other cities during the coming year.

The group also looks forward to opening 10 new branches during the forum to enhance its expansion plans .

The director stressed that Lulu works closely with various Saudi provinces to attract local investments, citing its participation in an investment tender in Jazan in cooperation with a real estate developer. He called on international partners to cooperate with the group to benefit from sustainable investment opportunities in the Saudi market, in light of the increasing demand and limited supply .

He pointed out that customers in the Kingdom become permanent once they see the quality of the products, competitive prices and excellent services provided by Lulu, which makes them prefer the group over any other alternative .
