The Competitiveness Center announces the launch of 20 projects on the “Istithlaa” platform to obtain opinions on them

Riyadh - Mubasher: The National Competitiveness Center’s (Istithlaa) platform announced the launch of 20 projects related to economic and development affairs, in cooperation with 8 government agencies, to enable the public, government agencies, and the private sector to express their views and suggestions on them before their approval.
The National Competitiveness Center explained, in a statement issued today, Monday, that the proposed projects included the project (Technical Controls and Guides for Waste Management in Camps During the Hajj Season), through which the National Center for Waste Management aims to determine the technical controls and guides to regulate waste management in camps during the Hajj season in the holy sites, and the platform allows surveying the project until February 26, 2025 AD.
The Supreme Authority for Industrial Security has proposed the project (Requirements for Practicing Security Services Activities), with the aim of developing the requirements for practicing security services licenses issued by the Authority. The survey on the project ends on February 27, 2025.
The General Authority for Food and Drug has submitted the project (Safety Requirements for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products), through which the Authority seeks to clarify general safety standards in addition to the packaging requirements and identification data that must be available in all cosmetics and personal care products, and the survey on the project will end on February 28, 2025.
For its part, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking opinions on the draft (Executive Regulations for the Real Estate Transactions Tax System), in order to clarify all definitions related to the real estate transaction tax and to clarify the scope of imposing the tax, its entitlement, payment and exemptions from it, while specifying criteria and controls for those exemptions. The survey on the draft ends on March 15, 2025.
