PRESSR: Jersey Financial Centre Celebrates Women Leaders in the Gulf

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh:   As part of the eighth edition of the Perspectives: Women in Leadership series in the Gulf region, held this year in Riyadh, Doha, and Dubai, the Jersey International Financial Centre celebrated the achievements of Gulf women in the financial services sector and their growing role in business leadership .

The sessions, which ran from October 5 to 9, featured panel discussions and professional networking sessions. They kicked off in Riyadh with a women-only session at the DoubleTree by Hilton on October 5, then moved to Doha at the W Doha on October 7, and concluded in Dubai at the Shangri-La Hotel on October 9 .

Amy Bryant, Deputy CEO of Jersey Finance, moderated the dialogues in the three cities, with Jill Britton, Managing Director of the Jersey Financial Services Authority, also participating. She was joined in Riyadh and Doha by Ellen Millar, Minister for Treasury and Resources and Deputy Minister for External Relations, Government of Jersey, while Helen de la Cour, Director of the Financial and Professional Services Sector, Government of Jersey, participated in the Dubai session. A panel discussion and professional networking event followed.

Millar emphasized that "deepening partnerships with the Gulf region is a strategic priority for Jersey," noting that such events "celebrate women's leadership and build broader bridges for the exchange of organizational and professional expertise, supporting the success of businesses and families ."

For her part, Anne Kellys, Director of the Gulf Region at Jersey Finance, explained that the Perspectives series " provides a space for practical inspiration, sharing experiences and lessons, and creating new connections that enable women to advance their careers and influence the future of the sector."

She added: “We are delighted to return to Riyadh, Doha and Dubai to highlight outstanding female talent and connect them with the global financial community in Jersey .”
