PRESSR: Central Bank of Bahrain: Coverage of Government Treasury Bills Issues – 12 Months

Manama, Bahrain - The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of Government Treasury Bills No. 130 (ISIN BH0007179565 ) has been oversubscribed by 100% .

The issue is valued at BHD 100 million for a 12-month maturity period, starting on July 17, 2025, and ending on July 16, 2026. The average interest rate on these bills is 5.39 %, compared to 5.28% for the previous issue, dated June 19, 2025.

The discount rate was 94.833 %, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 94.732 %, noting that the issue was covered by 100%.

The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issue amounted to 2.110 billion Bahraini dinars.
