PRESSR: Sharjah Classic Cars Club opens license plate printing plant

Sharjah – In yet another milestone for the Sharjah Classic Cars Club, the club announced the opening of a factory for printing vintage car license plates at its official headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah. This achievement aims to achieve institutional integration with official bodies, most notably the Ministry of Interior and the Sharjah Police General Command, and to align with the Sharjah Sports Council's strategy, which reflects its focus on providing integrated, smart services that meet customer expectations and enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.

This initiative is one of the key initiatives approved under the club's 2024-2028 strategic plan, which focuses on core pillars including enhancing the club members' experience within the Sharjah Customer Experience Improvement Program, digitizing services, building sustainable, integrated partnerships, empowering national talent, and preserving the heritage of classic cars. It also aims to achieve its goals of promoting institutional excellence in the sports sector, consolidating corporate identity, providing an innovative environment that supports community culture, and enhancing investment opportunities in quality events.

A step that embodies the club's commitment to developing its services.

Commenting on the new service, His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Classic Cars Club, said: “The opening of the license plate printing plant at the Sharjah Classic Cars Club represents a strategic step that enhances institutional excellence and embodies the club’s commitment to developing its services. He pointed out that the activation of the plant represents an advanced model for providing a comprehensive, smooth, fast, and reliable experience that serves both club members and customers.”

He explained that the initiative enables members to complete all traffic transactions related to old vehicles, from technical inspections, registration, payment of fees, and even printing of license plates in record time, through a digital system directly linked to federal traffic regulations. This reflects the drive towards providing a unified, smart service platform that achieves operational efficiency and contributes to raising customer satisfaction to 100% and service quality to 95%, as targeted by the performance indicators within the strategic plan.

A model of innovation in community service

The new factory is an extension of the club's initiatives to support the classic car culture and provide quality services under an integrated institutional umbrella that encourages community engagement in this unique field, enhancing Sharjah's position as a leading regional center for classic cars.

This move reflects the club's vision of combining authenticity and innovation, in line with the Emirate of Sharjah's aspirations to support specialized community sports and expand the base of participants in heritage activities with a sporting and cultural nature. This is in line with the Sharjah Sports Council's strategy, which seeks to consolidate diversity and excellence in the general sports scene and open new horizons for investment in events and initiatives with a cultural and heritage dimension.
