Turkey's Competition Authority opens investigation into video service providers
ISTANBUL, March 16 (Reuters) - Turkey's competition watchdog said on Sunday it had opened an investigation into subscription video platforms including Netflix, Disney and Amazon.
The Authority explained in a statement that the decision came after a preliminary investigation into the extent to which service providers violated the Competition Law.
The investigation will examine whether Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, Blu TV, Xen, and Jane violated an article of competition law through exclusive agreements and other restrictive practices.
