What's on the News?

• On Monday, the highest trading volume on the US market was Tesla Motors, Inc.(TSLA.US) , which closed up 4.55%. President Trump hinted on Monday that he might sell his Tesla shares. He also said that he hadn’t considered speaking with Musk, but Musk might want to talk with him. Morgan Stanley maintained a target price of $410 per share for Tesla.
• The second spot went to NVIDIA Corporation(NVDA.US) , which closed up 0.64%. Nvidia reached an artificial intelligence infrastructure deal in the UK. Jensen Huang praised the UK’s AI talent as the “envy of the world,” specifically mentioning the country’s researchers, universities, and startups. However, he noted that the UK needs more infrastructure to unlock the potential of this talent.
• Palantir(PLTR.US)  took third place, closing up 3.40%. Palantir’s CEO, Alex Karp, said last Friday that artificial intelligence will bring significant risks and that the ultimate winner of the current AI arms race will likely be one of two major nations. He said, “This technology will have both positive impacts and negative consequences,” but there can only be one victor.
• Amazon.com, Inc.(AMZN.US)  closed up 1.60%. The company announced on Monday that it plans to invest over $20 billion in Pennsylvania to expand its cloud computing infrastructure and advance AI innovation.
• Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.(AMD.US)  closed up 4.77%. Citigroup raised its target price for AMD from $100 to $120 on Monday.
• Circle(CRCL.US)  Internet Group, a stablecoin issuer, closed up 7.01%. The company made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange at $69.50 per share last Thursday and has risen for three consecutive trading days, with a current market value of $25.648 billion.
• Alphabet Inc. Class A(GOOGL.US) ’s  shares closed up 1.51%. Google announced on Monday the launch of the memory-optimized machine series COMPUTE ENGINE M4, the most powerful memory-optimized virtual machine with less than 6TB of memory.
• CoreWeave(CRWV.US)  closed up 15.65%, with a market value of $77.8 billion. The stock rose by over 25% last week.
• MicroStrategy Incorporated Class A(MSTR.US)  closed up 4.71%.
• AppLovin Corporation(APP.US)  closed down 8.21%. On Monday, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced in the latest quarterly adjustment that the components of the S&P 500 Index remained unchanged, with no additions or deletions. This means that Robinhood Securities, Applovin, and others were not included in the index as the market had expected.
• Intuitive Surgical, Inc.(ISRG.US)  closed down 5.55%. Financial data shows that as of March 31, 2025, Intuitive Surgical’s total revenue was $2.253 billion, up 19.19% year-over-year, and net profit attributable to the parent company was $698 million, up 28.17% year-over-year. Intuitive Surgical will disclose its mid-year report for the 2025 fiscal year on July 17.
