TASI Mid-Market Update – July 22, 2025

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) declined 1% on Tuesday, reversing course after breaking a multi-session losing streak in the prior session. The retreat was driven by broad-based sector weakness and softer oil prices.

Heavyweight Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) slipped 0.5%, mirroring the downturn in global crude benchmarks. Oil prices weakened amid renewed concerns that escalating trade tensions between the U.S. and the European Union could dampen global economic activity and reduce fuel demand.

Sport Clubs Co.(6018.SA) officially commenced trading today on the Main Market (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange. Within the first hour of trading, the stock recorded an intra-day high of SAR 9.21 and a low of SAR 7.59.

As of the time of this report, Sport Clubs Co. shares were trading at SAR 8.78, reflecting a gain of approximately 17% compared to the offering price of SAR 7.50.

For the first three trading days, shares will be subject to ±30% daily price fluctuation limits and ±10% static price fluctuation limits. From the fourth trading day onward, only the standard ±10% daily price fluctuation limit will apply, and static limits will be removed.

The broader market pullback came as regional sentiment was weighed down by global trade uncertainty. Investors grew cautious ahead of a looming U.S. tariff deadline, while reports suggested the European Union is preparing broader counter-measures amid stalled trade negotiations with Washington.
