DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – ( BUSINESS WIRE ) – NEP Group, the world’s most trusted media services partner for live sports and entertainment producers, today announced that Walid Ishaq will join the company on August 1 as President of NEP’s Middle East and Asia region.

A successful and experienced leader, Mr. Ishaq brings a wealth of experience to the company as it continues to grow and invest in the region, supporting broadcasters, sports leagues, rights holders, and content producers for major local and international broadcast productions and live events. Based in Dubai, he brings deep market and cultural expertise from his work across the Middle East, India, and Singapore, as well as internationally in cities ranging from Atlanta to London to Paris, among others. Mr. Ishaq is fluent in three languages: English, Arabic, and French.

Prior to joining NEP , Walid Ishaq spent his 30-plus-year career working in complex industries such as large-scale sports and media events, energy and infrastructure, and oil and gas with global companies including GE and BrandSafway , and most recently Loxam Group , where he served as Regional Director of Operations for the Middle East since 2022. He has worked with several companies that support the media industry. An electrical engineer with an MBA, Mr. Ishaq's experience encompasses an understanding of both the operational and commercial aspects of business.
