Forbes Middle East has unveiled its annual rankings for the top 100 CEOs in the Middle East for 2024, shining a spotlight on the instrumental contributions these executives have made to their companies' achievements.
Amin H. Nasser, President and CEO of Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) , has been honored with the top position for the fourth consecutive year. His continued leadership at one of the world's largest oil enterprises underscores his exceptional management skills.
Nasser's recognition also reflects his efforts in harnessing technology and innovation to enhance Aramco's operational efficiency and market competitiveness. This accolade further highlights the firm's role in Saudi Arabia's economic diversification plan, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Saudi Aramco CEO Tops Forbes Middle East's 2024 Top 100 CEOs List The prestigious Forbes Middle East list for 2024 features CEOs from 19 different national backgrounds. Emirati nationals are the most represented with 27 slots, followed by Egyptians with 21, and Saudis with 14, making up 62% of the list. This distribution underscores a significant focus on nurturing local leadership within major businesses.
In the second spot is Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of ADNOC Group, followed by Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group in third. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Deputy Chairman, President, and CEO of QatarEnergy, holds the fourth position, and Syed Basar Shueb, CEO and Managing Director of IHC, completes the top five.
For this fourth annual ranking, Forbes Middle East evaluated CEOs based on multiple factors, including their achievements and innovations over the past year, company size, and their wider impact on their organization and the industry as a whole.
