April 7 (Reuters) - Chief executives of some of the world's top banks, including Bank of America BAC.N and Citigroup C.N, on Sunday discussed on a call the chaos after U.S President Donald Trump's tariff announcement, Sky News reported on Monday.
BofA's Brian Moynihan, Barclays' BARC.L C.S. Venkatakrishnan and HSBC Holdings' HSBA.L Georges Elhedery were among those who held private talks over the carnage in the financial markets, the report said, citing an overseas bank executive.
Global economies have been rocked by Trump's tariff decision last week, which prompted China to retaliate, sparking concerns of a global recession.
