Stock market futures surged early Thursday as strong quarterly reports from Microsoft Corporation(MSFT.US) and Meta Platforms(META.US) Platforms allayed concerns about a slowdown in artificial intelligence spending due to economic turbulence.

As of 08:16 AM, ET, the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average(DJI.US) Futures edge up by 322 points or 0.79% to 41,092, the broad-based S&P 500 index(SPX.US) Futures jump higher by 68 points or 1.22% to 5,655, the tech-heavy NASDAQ(IXIC.US) Futures boost by 362 points or 1.84% to 20,021. General Motors Company(GM.US) cut its 2025 forecast due to tariff concerns, but shares still rose nearly 3% in premarket trading. Tesla Motors, Inc.(TSLA.US) shares traded higher after officials denied reports of a board search for a new CEO.

Despite weak economic data from the Commerce Department, investors looked past the news and began buying back into the market, resulting in a late-session rebound for the Dow Chemical Company(DOW.US) and S&P 500 index(SPX.US) .
