Nov 22 (Reuters) - Warburg Pincus and Apax Partners are exploring an initial public offering of its Dutch telecom business Odido, which could be valued at as much as 7 billion euros ($7.3 billion), Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing two people familiar with the matter.
The private equity groups have invited potential advisers to interview for roles in a potential IPO in Amsterdam next year, the report said, adding that a sale is also an option.
Warburg Pincus and Apax Partners bought T-Mobile Netherlands from Swedish telecom operator Tele2 and Germany's Deutsche Telekom 2021 for an enterprise value of 5.1 billion euros, rebranding the company as Odido.
Apax Partners declined to comment, while Warburg Pincus and Odido did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
