PRESSR: Memorandum of Understanding between the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) to enhance cooperation in the field of diplomacy
Abu Dhabi: The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, the world’s leading academic and diplomatic center in Abu Dhabi, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO), the prestigious French academic institution, to enhance cooperation in the field of diplomacy.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, and Mr. Philip Advani, Chairman of the Inalco Foundation, during a signing ceremony held at the UAE Embassy in Paris in the presence of Her Excellency Hind Mana Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of France.
Under this partnership, the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and the INALCO Institute will cooperate in a range of vital areas. The research forces of these two institutions will be combined, as they will exchange research expertise and collaborate on joint research projects with the aim of developing a deeper understanding of the fields of diplomacy and international relations, and formulating innovative solutions to address global challenges. In addition, together they will design and deliver joint training programmes, with the aim of equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve success in their future career paths. Moreover, they will encourage the exchange of knowledge through the publication of joint literature and the holding of conferences and seminars, with the aim of enhancing the exchange of experiences and strengthening diplomatic cooperation at the national and global levels. This agreement contributes to consolidating the role played by the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in caring for diplomats, and providing a platform for cooperation and cultural understanding that helps train the next generation of diplomats.

About the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO):
The National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations "INALCO" was created in 1975 in Paris. The Institute offers globally unique programs of higher education and research in the field of Oriental languages (more than 103 languages by day) and cultural civilizations (more than 200 cultural fields). The INALCO Institute hosts 9,000 students, and its research platform includes 1,250 individuals distributed among 14 research centers specialized in area studies and languages. Arabic studies at INALCO are based on a long tradition of scholarly heritage and practical approach.
