Tabuk Region Secretary: More than 120 ready investment opportunities in various fields

Riyadh - Mubasher: Tabuk Region Mayor Hussam bin Muwaffaq Al-Yousef reviewed with a number of businessmen and women in the region yesterday the most prominent existing projects and investment opportunities in the municipal sector, in the presence of Tabuk Chamber of Commerce Chairman Imad bin Sadad Al-Fakhri and members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, as part of the “Chamber Diwaniya” activities organized by Tabuk Chamber of Commerce during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Tabuk Chamber Diwaniya aims to enhance communication between various commercial and investment sectors, and create an environment that fosters dialogue and exchange of ideas and experiences between businessmen and women, which contributes to supporting the local economy and stimulating the desired development in the business sector in the region.

During the meeting, which was titled "Tabuk... Your Investment Destination", the Secretary of Tabuk Region touched on a number of important topics that shed light on the most prominent development and economic projects being implemented in the region, and future plans to improve the quality of life and attract investments, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".

Al-Youssef said that Tabuk region enjoys high and very high assets, the most important of which are youth talents and capabilities, the population structure, in addition to the purchasing power, which placed the region in third place in the Kingdom in terms of per capita consumption rate, and that Tabuk Municipality has more than 120 ready investment opportunities in various fields, whether large, medium or small, calling on businessmen and women to take advantage of these opportunities and invest in promising sectors that are witnessing rapid growth, especially in light of the unlimited support from the leadership and its continuous empowerment of the private sector.

Al-Yousef stressed that the most prominent characteristics and competitive capabilities enjoyed by the Tabuk region are manufacturing, agriculture, mining, energy, and tourism, which are features that have contributed to enhancing the region’s investment attractiveness, pointing out that Tabuk possesses exceptional potential and promising opportunities, especially in the tourism sector, stressing that the Secretariat is working to create a stimulating investment environment by providing a set of flexible facilities and procedures that support investors and entrepreneurs.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce in Tabuk expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the region’s secretariat in supporting investors and providing a competitive business environment, praising the level of coordination and continuous cooperation between the public and private sectors to achieve development, attract more investments in the municipal sector, and remove all obstacles facing investors’ projects, which will benefit the region and its residents.

During the meeting, the Secretary of Tabuk Region listened to the interventions of businessmen and women, which focused on the challenges facing investors in the municipal sector, ways to enhance the investment environment, in addition to the most prominent proposals to develop municipal services and facilitate procedures.
