PRESSR: Ericsson receives highest rating for consumer business use case for 5G core network

Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERIC) announced that it has received High Commendation in Gartner's 5G Core Network Mission-Critical Capabilities for Communications Service Providers 2023 report. Of the three use case areas analyzed in the report, Ericsson scored the highest in 5G use case in the consumer business sector. The company also scored the second highest rating in two other use cases for shared enterprise 5G core and dedicated enterprise 5G core.

Gartner's mission-critical capabilities analysis provides insight into service providers' product and service offerings by expanding Gartner's Magic Quadrant analysis. Of the more than 35 independent 5G networks in the world, 20 operate on Ericsson's dual-mode 5G core solution.
