Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and global technology company Oracle signed a partnership agreement worth more than SAR 2 billion to accelerate digital transformation across the Kingdom.
The agreement, part of the group's strategic partnership with Oracle spanning over 18 years, aims to develop an advanced cloud infrastructure powered by artificial intelligence, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Wednesday.
The agreement also aims to provide sovereign cloud solutions through the Oracle Alloy platform, hosted in data centers affiliated with center3, the digital infrastructure arm of stc Group.
This collaboration enhances data retention within the Kingdom and ensures full compliance with Saudi data governance regulations, supporting digital transformation in both the public and private sectors.
This partnership coincides with the US President's visit to the Kingdom, reflecting the importance of international cooperation in driving technological innovation and fostering shared economic growth, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It also paves the way for localizing next-generation cloud services technologies within the Kingdom.
