This update underscores the university's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and innovation, and aligns with accelerating global and national trends in technology.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its reshaping of industries and career paths, this program provides students with a competitive edge in the changing job market. The British University in Dubai was established by Government Law No. 5 in 2003 by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.
