The Indian government: The Foreign Minister expressed India's grave concern over the shooting incident that occurred earlier today involving two Indian-flagged vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

- India's Ministry of External Affairs confirmed in a statement that two Indian-flagged oil tankers were attacked on Saturday while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran’s ambassador to New Delhi was summoned for a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri, who expressed India’s deep concern over the shooting incident involving the two ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Misri urged the ambassador to inform the Iranian authorities of India’s position and to resume procedures to facilitate the passage of ships bound for India through the Strait as soon as possible.
