Riyadh - Mubasher: Water and electricity service providers have called on all beneficiaries, both citizens and residents, to quickly document the meters with their actual beneficiaries, before starting the procedures to disconnect the service from undocumented meters.

Service providers explained that failure to document the meter will result in the suspension of additional services, and failure to complete any request, service or complaint for the beneficiary. The final procedure for failure to document is to disconnect the service from the meter, until documentation and connection are completed, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

She noted that the procedures for stopping additional services will begin gradually after 30 days, until the service is disconnected from the meter permanently.

She stressed that the meter documentation procedures have been made available through many easy electronic channels that aim to facilitate and complete the documentation, and they are still available to all beneficiaries at the Saudi Electricity Company, the National Water Company, and the Marafiq Company.

She added: "If beneficiaries have any inquiries regarding documentation mechanisms, they can communicate directly with service providers through the available call centers and their social media accounts."
