Iraq asks Türkiye to extend oil pipeline agreement for at least a year

- Iraq has asked Turkey to extend the current agreement on the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline for at least a year to allow more time to negotiate a new agreement, said Ali Nizar, director of the Iraqi state oil marketing company SOMO.

He added in statements published on the company's official website that Iraq has exported 12 million barrels of crude oil from its southern ports since the beginning of June.
