The Jordanian index ends the week lower
Amman, October 30 (Reuters) - The Jordanian stock exchange ended the week lower due to selling in leading stocks such as Arab Potash, amid good trading volume.
The general stock index closed down 0.16 percent on Thursday at 3318.1 points, while trading value reached 15.4 million dinars ($21.7 million), compared to 8.7 million in the previous session.
Shares of the Islamic Bank of Jordan fell 0.45 percent to 4.43 dinars, shares of the Phosphate Mines Company fell 0.04 percent to 22.59 dinars, and shares of the Arab Potash Company fell 1.38 percent to 34.4 dinars.
Shares of the Jordanian Kuwaiti Bank rose 1.82 percent to 3.35 dinars.
