Cairo - Mubasher: Arab investors seized a buying opportunity on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) during today's trading, with indices declining by a net value of EGP 45.26 million.

Foreign and Egyptian transactions were directed towards selling, with a net value of EGP 7.6 million and EGP 37.6 million, respectively.

Arab institutions were net buyers of EGP 84.5 million, while local and foreign institutions were net sellers of EGP 112.08 million and EGP 2.17 million, respectively.

The main index of the Egyptian Exchange, EGX30, declined, closing at 31,030 points, down 0.49%.

Market capitalization fell by EGP 159 billion to EGP 2.199 trillion.

Meanwhile, the EGX70 Equal Weight Index for Small and Medium Enterprises fell by 0.1% to close at 8,968 points, while the broader EGX100 Equal Weight Index rose by 0.37% to close at 12,313 points.

During the trading session, 1.5 billion shares were traded, with a trading value of EGP 3.4 billion, through 102,270 transactions. 213 shares were traded during the session, of which 68 shares rose, 115 shares declined, and 30 shares remained unchanged.
