While the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar, the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix, and Expo Doha 2023 all coincide in October, the latest monthly edition of the Qatar Events Calendar issued by Qatar Tourism comes packed with some of the biggest events hosted by Qatar this year.
In addition to major sporting events, the month of October will also witness the launch of a group of international art exhibitions, important trade fairs, and the holding of performances, singing and musical concerts, and others, which meet all tastes and interests and suit various groups and ages.
Commenting on this month’s calendar, Sheikha Noor Abdullah Al Thani, Acting Head of Tourism Events and Festivals at Qatar Tourism, said: “Qatar is now a leading destination for hosting major international events, as will be clearly demonstrated by the October events calendar. These events will be held in... A group of the most famous destinations in Qatar, highlighting Qatar’s commitment to creating advanced and modern sports facilities, concert halls, museums and green spaces, all of which enhance the comprehensive experience that Qatar provides to its visitors, whether on relaxing holidays or enjoying entertainment offers.”

Geneva International Motor Show Qatar
Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre

While the exhibition pavilions cover an area of more than 10,000 square meters at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, the exhibition, in its inaugural edition, which is held in Qatar for the first time, attracts 31 leading brands from the most famous brands in the automotive industry, including Toyota, Lexus, Porsche, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, BMW, Kia, Audi and McLaren. The Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix comes to the famous Losail International Circuit once again, providing motor racing fans with the opportunity to spend a weekend full of excitement and fun with the most prominent international drivers who will compete on the famous international racing circuit.
